So What Happened Since January?????
I spent February acting like every day was my birthday – sort of a voluntary, hedonistic version of “Groundhog Day.” I’m trying to get back on track with reality before leaving on a road trip with my mom (today is her 74th birthday and she arrived yesterday for a month-long visit!) up to the San Juan Islands.
I’d like to acknowledge a very helpful site I have been studying since October 2004: High School Baseball Web (it’s in my list of blogs). Son Dillon is hoping to have a future in baseball after high school. As a family, we knew we needed to study up on the recruiting process to understand all the pros and cons of this exciting possibility. This excellent resource covers it all. A big thank you to the people who developed the site!
So, for the rest of the months of March – July, I pretty much try to take my Virtual Assistance Practice on the road so I can attend as many baseball games as I can. As other parents can attest to, this stage of life will be over far too soon. Meanwhile, I’m enjoying my life as baseball fan. If you are looking for me, stop by the ball field at Prescott High School most afternoons!
