Invoice Daily, Monthly, Sometimes???
The last day of another month. EOM, to those of us in the workforce.
There are countless chores done at the end or beginning of the month, depending on your preference.
Some small business owners invoice continually throughout the month. I prefer to do that task on the last day of the month, as the task rewards me with sense of completion and accomplishment. I keep a running ledger which documents all of a particular client’s service throughout the previous month using paper and pencil. While the majority of my VA collegues report using time tracking software for that task, writing it down every dy feels like a form of soothing handiwork, not unlike knitting.
Mentally, getting all those bills out to clients makes for several euphoric days as the next month gets underway.
So, the point of this reverie is that even in business, there can be procedural and systemic choices that make your spirit sing. What are yours?

I invoice every two weeks. But it is that time for me as well, and I enjoy the familiar pattern it makes for me in my business.
By the way, I enjoy your blog becaues of the way you word things. Keep it up!
