This is my first time! I’m a blog virgin! I too love thrift stores and yard sales. Have you tried the DAV on 5th street? Every once in a while I find a ‘treasure’ there. I’ll try the coffee shop you recommended. I also don’t drink coffee, but my husband does. I find I can always find some great tea at a coffee shop. I too love thrift stores and yard sales. Have you tried the DAV on 5th street?
Every once in a while I find a ‘treasure’ there. I’ll try the coffee shop you recommended. I also don’t drink coffee, but my husband does. I find I can always find some great tea at a coffee shop. On the other hand, I'm with you for thrifts & yard sales. As an undriver, I do have a problem with yard sales -- too many heavy things that I simply can't get home. As for Thrifts, I really like the stuff over at Noah's. And don't forget the used book store, for heavens' sake. For new stuff, I'm likely to go to Amazon -- my best adventure there was finding a great lime sauce that I originally met at the 99 cent store next to KMart; they closed and I was bereft, but found the item at Amazon!
