I Can’t Think of Anything to Write About
Remember those open-ended writing assignments when you were a school kid? Blogging is like that, too, some days. Waiting, waiting, waiting for inspiration to strike.
Stumped for a good blogging topic?
Here are some writing projects and motivators. Projects like these boost traffic to your site and that of the person hosting the project, and they also help you connect with other bloggers, too.
Essential Keystroke’s Ad Lib Group Writing Project. Write a blog post inspired by a great ad slogan from the past. Deadline: Wednesday, March 12.
Lorelle at Lorelle on WordPress features a category called “Blogging Challenges.” Just go here to see what she’s put out there lately. No Deadline: Ongoing.
Not exactly a writing project, but Dawud’s post “Make Your Bio Page About You,” over on eMomsathome.com might inspire some overdue edits to your own “About” or “bio” page.
Places to go, people to see
At Loosely Speaking, we’re curious about WHERE you do your blogging. There are lots of events coming up in March and April for bloggers and Virtual Assistants… if you write on the road while attending conventions, or commonly blog somewhere other than at your desk, write and tell me about it. (Comment, or blog on your own page and trackback here, or just email to tell to to ktcosmos-at-LooseEnds-dot-net.)
Take a look at Loosely Speaking’s Annual Convention Calendar and plan to attend one of the events in the months ahead. Tell me where you’re headed and maybe I will see you there!
