Any social networking service that isn’t free (such as Loopt) isn’t worth looking into in my opinion. BrightKite is free, integrates with Twitter, and works on any cell phone… ‘Nuff said

I appreciate that clarification. What would you recommend as the definitive source on Fire Eagle?

Hey there – Fire Eagle isn’t a social network by the way. It’s just a place to keep information about your location that you can use all over the internet. That’s it, really.
