Tapping the Power of LinkedIn

Social Networking options are confusing.

Just how many hours a day to devote to which ones? How to create and develop your presence on those you frequent? How NOT to come off looking like a bonehead in your early efforts? These are just a few of the challenges in learning to navigate these heavily populated areas of the internet.

In fact, I just now learned about Ning, where you can actually create your OWN social network.

My favorite professional hangout right now is LinkedIn. The most compelling feature there is the Q&A. If you haven’t tried it, you should.

Read this terrific post: “Why is LinkedIn Answers so Useful?“, by Zale Tabakman, who publishes Success Through Balance. Zale makes a great case for using LinkedIn Answers, and he tells you exactly how to get started.

LinkedIn Fan’s Blog Spot, by Ehab Elagaty is another wonderful intro to LinkedIn.
