Llama, What is this you say?! I think camping may have gone to your head. Valid point though, I think we all hit the blah blogs once in a while (as if I've been doing if forever).

Kathie, right you are. I hope that the non Linked In members will be motivated to join (chuckling) if they can't view the replies that were received.

Emma, thanks for sharing that link, which I hope will inspire all new and seasoned bloggers who hit the wall on occasion!

Hi Katie

You've raised a valid point here. If you're blogging for the sake of it and going through the motions because you feel obliged to keep posting, you're letting your readers down as well. They don't want to read tired, rehashed, hastily posted articles. They're after fresh content that's worth reading. I've blogged on finding time to write here: http://emmalee1.wordpress.com/2008/07/12/six-tips-for-finding-time-to-write/ which might be useful.

Good to see all the answers Katie but I'm not sure that those who aren't members of LinkedIn can view them so you might want to reproduce them - with permission of those who gave them, so all can be seen here. Someone mentioned how some start blogging with good intentions, do one post and that's it. I do admit I have a few blogs that have a small number of posts and I haven't done much else with them - but they are actually holding bays for something I'm going to do later. I own a lot of blogs and 4 or 5 of them are quite active ones.
