There are many documented benefits to having an assistant in another time zone. Personally, I have tried to keep my business small enough so I didn't have the additional layer of working with a team. I'm past the growing my biz stage and am instead trying to improve my quality of life by doing a lot of bartering and limiting my client base so as to not fall into the crazy place that happens when I have too much work.
