A week ago today, our youngest was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels. It’s not the first time our family has been affected by the MLB Amateur Draft, but we could tell this was probably going to be the one time that it really mattered.

Most visitors to Loosely Speaking probably don’t care, but I’m going to chronicle the minor league experience through a mom’s eyes as this boy of mine embarks (fingers crossed) on his career as a professional baseball player.

So. 11th Round. Angels, taken as a 3B player.
