On a quick trip out to shop today I noticed the store was very crowded… made note to self to ask “what’s up with this?” upon checking out.

I remembered to ask and found that the first Wednesday of every month is Senior Discount Shopping Day, and would I like to use my 10% discount today? While I do have a senior in high school at the moment, the word completely failed to register at first.

Well, I would, but I am just 53 and you have to be 55 to claim that discount. Another milestone passed.
