How Many iPods Have YOU Gone Through?
I’m still on my first. I treat it like a cherished heirloom. It gets most of its workout in the car, when hooked up to iTrip. As a recording device with iTrip clipped in place, it’s proven its worth over and over as I conduct onsite interviews for clients’ press releases. A real trooper, my little 20 Gig model is.
Then today I read this: “My Share of the Million,” by Christopher Breen, in which it is revealed that Apple has now sold more than a hundred million of these little guys. I’m not sure I even know how to write out that number…
My son broke the screen on his six months into ownership, but has managed to continue using it rather than shell out the moolah to buy another one. If I broke mine (highly unlikely due to its sheltered existence), you can bet I would go out the next day to get acquainted with #2.
My son-in-law is asking for his first for his upcoming birthday. And that rounds out our family’s iPod investment.
