My experience:

I’ve operated Loose Ends since 1996 as an owner-operator. I enjoy collaborative, creative projects and am happy to have attracted an amazing variety of clients that fit that description. I am happy to provide work samples upon request. The same goes for references.

My services include:

• Blog support on the WordPress platform
• Layout and design services including: web site ads and graphics, assorted print materials.

• Web site maintenance for html-based static websites and those built with WordPress

My availability:

I am difficult to reach by phone so it’s best to schedule any teleconferences or meetings via email. It’s not that I don’t like people. Rather, my work is all project-oriented and if I am working on something for you, or any other client, I don’t want to break my focus by answering the phone.

I work out of my own office on my own equipment. Fortunately for you, this means you don’t have to pay me for travel time to and from your office. Of course, if you do happen to be based nearby, I would be happy to meet with you in person, though you will find that option not as economical.

I’m just as likely to refer you to a trusted colleague as to accept your project for many reasons, and here are a few of the situations in which I will refer you elsewhere:

• I am not expert at the service you seek, and I know someone else who is.
• My plate is full with other existing client work at the moment.
• You seem like you need help on a one-time project and that’s not the kind of work I do.
• In talking with you it appears as though you require a 24-hr. turnaround on all projects, or the majority of your projects are “urgent” or “emergency” in nature. There are many VAs who are equipped to take on your work, but I am not able to.

My rates:

Provided upon request. All new work requires a deposit of 1/2 of the estimated initial cost. Thereafter, I bill monthly. For greatest economy, I offer customized retainer packages for qualifying clients.
