Prescott AZ Resources for Elders, those with Chronic Illnesses, and Caregivers

Loose Ends does not provide support services of the nature described here.

However, because of the Prescott Quad-City area’s large retirement population, there are many agencies, private businesses, and programs available to assist you if you are a senior, if you are managing a chronic illness, or are the family, friend, or caregiver of an elder in our community.

In the spirit of community, I’ve built this list of those services you or a loved one may need one day. These listings are free, whether or not a given agency is a nonprofit or private business. None of these listings constitutes an endorsement or advertisement; they are provided as a public service only).

This page previously could be found here: www.LooseEnds.net/elder.html but has recently been permanently moved to this location.

Special thanks to:

Carol Thomason, who inspired the original creation of this page when she was a caregiver for her mother and hired me to assist with some of her needs; Annie Gaddis, Just the Necessities; and to Steve Bergmann, a Social Worker with Nurses Network (928.772.8707), both of whom generously shared their resource lists with me.

Please feel free to share other resources and books you have found useful.

Finally, I rely on readers to send updated information when some of these resources change their contact phone numbers, etc.
