In my reading about trackbacks (how to, etiquette — as in, don’t do it if the site you’re tracking back to is set for pingbacks, I find I’m more confused after looking through assorted tutorials.

A good site for info is OptiNiche Blog. Over there I learned that even though your own blog may look as though it’s set for sending a trackback, the actual code may be missing.

Overall, it seems as though if more of us used trackbacking, more of our conversations would be linked, leading to more thorough discussion as well as creating an effective means of networking. I’ll gladly list more details on this topic here as I learn of resources that help to unravel the topic.
